'Y' pieces are normally obtained from local hardware stores - certainly in the UK and France! Good luck, John C Posted on Mar 22, 2011. When switched back on it fills up, it drains but doesn't want to spin or finish a programme for that matter as the drum doesn't seem to be able to move by itself. My washing machine stopped during its cycle yesterday, blew the house fuses. When it wants cold water- for rinses- it opens its cold water valve.and gets the same water supply as the hot valve! ![]() The machine opens its 'hot' water valve, receives just the single supply cold water and then has to heat it to the correct temperature. ![]() 6277 Answers SOURCE: Hi from retired Englishman in SW France, Yes!
